Surah At-Takaathur — سُورَةُ التَّكَاثُرِ

أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ ﴿1﴾

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you (102:1)

حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ ﴿2﴾

Until ye come to the graves. (102:2)

كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿3﴾

Nay, but ye will come to know! (102:3)

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿4﴾

Nay, but ye will come to know! (102:4)

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ﴿5﴾

Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! (102:5)

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ ﴿6﴾

For ye will behold hell-fire. (102:6)

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ﴿7﴾

Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. (102:7)

ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ﴿8﴾

Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. (102:8)
