Surah Al-Maa'un — سُورَةُ المَاعُونِ

أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿1﴾

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? (107:1)

فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ ﴿2﴾

That is he who repelleth the orphan, (107:2)

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ ﴿3﴾

And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. (107:3)

فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ﴿4﴾

Ah, woe unto worshippers (107:4)

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ﴿5﴾

Who are heedless of their prayer; (107:5)

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ ﴿6﴾

Who would be seen (at worship) (107:6)

وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ ﴿7﴾

Yet refuse small kindnesses! (107:7)
